Produce Safety Trainings, only $35
Farm Employers Labor Service (FELS) has partnered with the California Farm Bureau Federation and Safe Food Alliance to offer several Produce Safety Trainings in English and Spanish. All courses will cover the same material and be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Upcoming trainings include:
• January 31, 2019 - Kingsburg (Spanish only)
• February 19, 2019 - Tulare
• April 18, 2019 - Tulare (Spanish only)
• April 26, 2019 - Kingsburg
• May 7, 2019 - Madera (Spanish only)
Most farms are required to have at least one designated supervisor who has been trained in accordance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety rule. Upon completion of the course, attendees will receive an official certificate from the Association of Food & Drug Officials.
