Farm Bureau offers

Three Basic Categories of Membership

Agricultural

Associate
Collegiate

You may join Farm Bureau as:

1. An individual, and you/your spouse are listed on account
2. A company entity, where only one designated person will manage account (for an entity). A company manager will be required to be identified.

 

Agricultural Member Level

$280 per year
dues effective November 1, 2017

Any member residing or farming in Tulare County who expects to receive income during the coming year from the agriculture industry is encouraged to join at the Agricultural Member level, this level also includes voting rights to vote at the Annual Meeting of Members. Members receive the popular weekly edition of CFBF Ag Alert, and twelve monthly editions of the TCFB NEWS. Members who provide an email address are also added to all the electronic news bulletins sent out each month and will receive invitations to all of Farm Bureau’s special events.

There are premium tiers at $400, $1000 and $2500 for Business Support and Heritage level members, more details can be found linked here. Business and Heritage level memberships can be categorized as Agriculture or Associated based on the businesses’ type of income.

 

Associate Member Level

$100 per year
dues effective November 1, 2017

Open to any individual who is not an agriculture member. Anyone can join at the associate level to show their support for agriculture and farming. Many join because of savings and discounts on insurance programs and for access to other benefit programs offered by Farm Bureau. There are no voting member privileges associated with this level. Members receive the popular bi-monthly edition of the California Bountiful magazine, and twelve monthly editions of the TCFB NEWS. Members who provide an email address are also added to all the electronic news bulletins sent out each month and will receive invitations to all of Farm Bureau’s special events.

Collegiate Member Level

$25 per year
dues effective November 1, 2014

Any student between the ages of 16-24 may join at this reduced rate, and enjoy online access to the Ag Alert news publication, and information exclusive to members about scholarships, internships, career opportunities, and information about the Young Farmers and Ranchers program in their local area. This membership level provides most communications electronically. Members do not have voting privileges at this level.
