The committee is charged with oversight of the board’s activities and events, and meets monthly with the Executive Director of the organization to manage and govern the finances and programs of the Farm Bureau.
The committee is dedicated to informing the public about the importance of agriculture and works to provide agricultural literacy resources to students, teachers, and the public to educate them about agriculture
The committee, appointed by the President, is responsible for helping to maintain the fiscal integrity of the Tulare County Farm Bureau by working to manage the corporation’s investments. Quarterly meetings are held.
The Fundraiser Committee’s role is to generate funds for the TCFB Education and Scholarship Fund, a separate 501(c)3 charitable trust established in 1988 to fund scholarships and educational programs of the Farm Bureau.
This committee is an ad hoc group of stakeholders that meet occasionally to discuss important land use related policy topics that may guide Farm Bureau in setting policy objectives around land use development and permitting.
The committee is charged with managing the tenant relationship on the Farm Bureau’s property, and ensuring the operation of a viable livestock market for local cattle producers.
The committee is responsible for helping to implement membership recruitment and retention goals and develop ideas to improve the visibility of Farm Bureau through effective marketing channels and social media.
The committee meets each spring to identify, qualify, and nominate prospective members to the Board of Directors for the 15 District Seats and Officer Positions.
The committee meets each spring to select and interview student applicants for scholarship consideration. Committee members also attend the Academic Award Nights to hand out the funds.
Each county Farm Bureau conducts various safety trainings, compliance workshops, and hosts events to support Rural Health and Safety efforts with our members.
The Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee is a committee for young agricultural professionals ages 18-35 to participate in business and social networking, competitive events, and develop leadership skills.
The trustees are a separate appointed Board to serve as the trustees to the Farm Bureau’s 501c3 Educational and Scholarship Charitable Trust.
