Farm Bureau offers
three Main Categories of Membership described below:

For students ages 16 - 25

Members may join as:

1. An individual, and you/your spouse are listed on account

2. A company entity, where only one designated person will manage account (for an entity). A company manager will be required to be identified.

 

$2500 annual dues

A premium level for companies and individuals that wish to give Farm Bureau a greater voice and a larger gift in annual dues support.  This level receives a free color ad in the Source Book, and prominent web and print logo/name exposure throughout many digital and print media.

$1000 annual dues

For companies and individuals wishing to promote their company at a level above Business Support.  They will receive name listings in prominent locations on web and print media. 

$400 for companies that wish to gain access to advertising exposure and discounted rates.

$280 per year
dues effective November 1, 2017

Any member residing or farming in Tulare County who expects to receive income during the coming year from the agriculture industry is encouraged to join at the Agricultural Member level, this level also includes voting rights to vote at the Annual Meeting of Members. Members receive the popular weekly edition of CFBF Ag Alert, and twelve monthly editions of the TCFB NEWS. Members who provide an email address are also added to all the electronic news bulletins sent out each month and will receive invitations to all of Farm Bureau's special events.

$100 per year
dues effective November 1, 2017

Open to any individual who is not an agriculture member. Anyone can join at the associate level to show their support for agriculture and farming. Many join because of savings and discounts on insurance programs and for access to other benefit programs offered by Farm Bureau. There are no voting member privileges associated with this level. Members receive the popular bi-monthly edition of the California Bountiful magazine, and twelve monthly editions of the TCFB NEWS. Members who provide an email address are also added to all the electronic news bulletins sent out each month and will receive invitations to all of Farm Bureau's special events.

$25 per year
dues effective November 1, 2014

Any student between the ages of 16-24 may join at this reduced rate, and enjoy online access to the Ag Alert news publication, and information exclusive to members about scholarships, internships, career opportunities, and information about the Young Farmers and Ranchers program in their local area. This membership level provides most communications electronically. Members do not have voting privileges at this level.

Who can be a member?

Everyone is eligible to apply for Farm Bureau membership and receive the many benefits and services available. When you join, you are applying for membership in the Tulare County Farm Bureau. All members receive the TCFB monthly newspaper produced exclusively for Tulare County Farm Bureau members. Farmers and ranchers who receive income from production agriculture and those who receive income from the farming industry join as Agricultural Members and receive the weekly Ag Alert, California’s number one agricultural trade journal.  All others join as Associate Members and receive the bimonthly California Bountiful, filled with useful information and background on food production, home gardening and other subjects. Businesses may join at a special rate to receive discounted advertising rates and other benefits, and may be listed under the agriculture or associate rate level as it pertains to their business.

Members are also eligible to receive TCFB E-News, the Farm Bureau’s electronic newsletter sent out periodically.
